Bangladeshi policy-makers, regional and global experts joined DEGRP and the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Dhaka on Thursday 20th February to discuss challenges and solutions for economic transformation in Bangladesh. The policy dialogue focused on two key sectors - garment (manufacturing) and agriculture, which are both at a critical juncture.

The event was watched by over 3500 online viewers, and was followed by extensive media coverage and debate.

In addition, DEGRP grant holder Prof. Chris Woodruff, presented his project on the critical role of mid-level managers, particularly women, in supporting increased productivity in the Bangladeshi garment sector.
